Cancellation Policy
MEDICAL EMERGENCIES POLICY By enrolling, parents/guardians agree to the following Medical Emergencies Policy. 1. Health Disclosure Parents/guardians must disclose any medical conditions, allergies, disabilities, or special needs at registration so staff can provide safe instruction. 2. Emergency Contacts At least one current emergency contact must be provided and kept up to date at all times. 3. Emergency Response In a medical emergency, staff will remove the swimmer from the water if needed, provide first aid, call 911 when necessary, and notify the parent/guardian as soon as possible. 4. Emergency Care Authorization By enrolling, parents/guardians authorize staff to seek emergency medical care if they cannot be reached, including ambulance transport if necessary. 5. Medication Staff may only assist with life-saving medication, such as an EpiPen or inhaler, with prior written authorization. Parents/guardians must inform staff of its location before each lesson. 6. Illness Policy Swimmers should not attend lessons if they are sick, contagious, or have open wounds that may pose a risk to others. 7. Inclusion & Support Families are encouraged to share accommodations, triggers, or support strategies to help their swimmer participate safely. 8. Documentation All medical incidents will be documented and shared with the parent/guardian. 9. Acknowledgment By enrolling, families acknowledge the risks of participation and authorize staff to act in the swimmer’s best interest during an emergency.
